Privacy Policy
How LeasePass collects, uses, protects and retains your information.
Last updated: 2026. Operated by Devs Domain Information Technology Solutions (Trinidad & Tobago).
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, role.
- Application data you provide: employment, income, household, references.
- Documents you upload: identification, job letters, payslips, and any credit report you choose to share.
- Tenancy activity: payments, messages, and maintenance requests.
- Technical data: IP address and timestamps, for security and the audit record.
Why we use it
To verify your identity and income, let you apply to listings, connect renters and landlords, process rent payments through a licensed gateway, and keep a neutral record of the tenancy. We rely on your consent (given when you sign the application and verification forms) and our legitimate interest in operating the platform.
Who can see it
Your verification team at LeasePass reviews your documents to confirm details; this access is logged. Landlords never receive your raw documents — only your trust tier and the lawful facts you choose to share. Pool profiles show limited details until you accept an offer.
How we protect it
Sensitive fields and uploaded documents are encrypted at rest and served over secure connections. Access is restricted and recorded in an append-only audit log.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Pool visibility expires automatically. You can delete your profile at any time, which removes your documents from the platform. Inactive draft applications and rejected documents are purged on a schedule.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information, and withdraw consent. Contact hello@leasepass.tt.
Payments & credit
Rent payments are processed by a licensed payment provider; LeasePass does not store full card details or hold your funds. We do not pull your credit — only a report you choose to share is stored.
